Photo Resolution help
"Make sure your photos are going to look amazing"
The yellow warnings on photos are a guideline only. You will still be able to order your HotBook or HotCalendar even with the warnings, but we are letting you know that the photos may be blurry.
Low resolution photos can look great on a computer screen but look awful when printed!! So it's important to check that you are using photos of a high enough resolution for printing.
To double-check exactly what the photos will look like when they are printed, you can download a PDF file of your HotBook. To do this:
1. Save your HotBook
2. Click 'Not Today' to return to your main page.
3. Click the 'My Books' tab after a few minutes - until the 'Rendering' button has changed to say 'View Book'.
4. Click the 'Download' button.
This will download a PDF file of your HotBook so you can check every page to make sure. Your HotBook will be printed as it appears in the PDF, so if your photos look great there, they will look great in your HotBook. Bad quality photos will look blurry.
As a rough guide, if your file is less than 60Kb or the picture size is less than 600 x 480, it will probably not print very well.
